We here at Calanander do our best to bring you all the latest in special screenings and Q&As for film in the LA and NYC areas. But today we're plugging something different: a play. SPIKE HEELS is a dark comedy described as "Pygmalion goes awry in this contemporary comedy of manners which explores sexual harassment, misplaced amour, and the possibility of a four sided love triangle. The combatants are a sexy, volatile young woman and three Back Bay types a writer, a lawyer, and a fiancé in sensible shoes." A portion of the proceeds benefit the Haiti relief effort. The play runs until June 27 and performances are every Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and every Sunday at 3:00pm. At Theater 68 on Sunset Boulevard in LA.
